Program implemented by I WATCH
2022-2023
project, which ran from October 2022 to November 2023, aimed to engage citizens in the public sphere and promote the role of local civil society in fostering accountability. It focused on ensuring accountability and citizen oversight of public policies in the new municipalities, while also involving vulnerable individuals. Direct targets included citizens of Gafsa, residents of the Belkhir municipality, local civil society organizations, officials of the Belkhir municipality, and local elected representatives. This project was conducted under the framework of the I Assist program implemented by I WATCH in partnership with the European Union
