(February 2018 – January 2019). This project is a civic initiative to be implemented in Gafsa. It combines research to action and relies mainly on an inclusive participatory approach. The project will try to promote the principles of good governance and assess the performance of the Tunisian administration at the local level in Gafsa. In the first phase of the project, Impact Foundation will conduct a perception survey to investigate citizens’ satisfaction regarding the application of good governance rules and transparency within local public administrations.
The project aims to enhance the transparency and application of the principles of good governance at the local level. It also aims to
• Strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in the region
• Produce recommendations for decision makers at the local and national levels.
• Engage citizens in an assessment and consultation process regarding the quality of administrative services.
